Social Media branding

I was searching through different files on my computer and came across this post I had written about going from unknown to well-known online. I didn’t publish it then, but I am publishing it now especially since I have used the very tactics I outlined here and found success with them. Here are the four ways:

  • Conduct a social media audit

    – This first thing you do is conduct an audit, to do this well, follow these steps

  • Find all your Social Media Profiles and document them, ensure you know
  1. Why you’re using this profile
  2. Why you want to use it
  3. Your primary goals for using it
  4. Whether your Target market is using it
  • Check the details of all profiles and fine-tune them, ensure consistency across all platforms with the message being sent and images
  • Compare the performances of your profiles today vs. one or two years ago to see whether goals are being met
  • Find some key industry influencers and find out how they manage their Social Media
  1. Observe their branding
  2. Observe the type of engagement
  3. Observe the number of followers
  4. Kind of content posted on their profile
